As a form of payment, we hand our customers a check when we pick up their car. If a vehicle buying service states that you need to wait for payment, then the best thing that you can do is find another service. After you have signed the back of the title, this means that the vehicle is no longer under your ownership, and if there's an issue with the payment process, then you'll have to take the buyer to court. Clients who get other bids should demand payment before signing the title.

There are times when you'd think your car is not worth the fix after driving it to the shop and realizing it is in a bad shape and you'll be unable to drive it back home. Just call us and share all the info you can about your car with our agent, and instead of picking up your car from your residence, we'll arrange with your suggested mechanic to pick up the car at his shop. You can get the check either from the mechanic (after we give it to him) or we can arrange a meetup so you can still get the check from us in person.

If your clunker has been flooded, you need to make sure that you sell it to a reputable junk car company who will appropriately lable your auto as 'flood damaged'. This is because some states would require the car to be labeled as such on its title. Keep in mind that without this label, you as the seller could be liable for sales in the future.
