When you sell your junk car to us we do not sell the parts directly. Our important role is to act as the middle man in terms of finding auto recyclers who will then take the car and break it down. After they assess the components and metals then they will determine whether there are any parts that can be reused or if the most valuable thing is just the metal that will be melted and transformed into a usable scrap material. But if a car is in better condition and can be reconditioned and repaired to be resold then that is what will happen. There are just a number of things that can happen with the parts of your car.

When it comes to scams, there are some things you need to watch out for when trying to figure out if someone's a legit buyer or otherwise. Perhaps the first thing you need to look out for is the online presence. If someone reaches out to you with a claim that they are junk car buying business yet they don't have a website, then that should be a 'red light' for you.

The information that you provide to our professional agents is used to assess the value of your vehicle and to determine if it would be better and safer to pay you with cash or with a check. Our preference would be to pay you in cash but it is not always possible when the tow truck operator has a number of vehicles to tow and obtain paperwork. We do not want to put our tow drivers at risk while carrying thousands of dollars in cash since they do not have the level of security needed for their protection.
